Her unmarried daughter, Leontine, inherited it and bequeathed it to her niece, Baroness Adrienne Le Bailly de Tilleghem, wife of Baron Benedict Gillès de Pélichy.
Ravaged by fire in 1928, the castle was rebuilt.
After the death of Adrienne in 1956 her children sold the castle which is currently owned by an antiques dealer.
