Abraham Gillès bought this house (at the top of which was sculpted the Gillès crested coat of arms) in 1651. It was successively inhabited by himself and his son Jean, then his grandson Philippe-Jean, and his great-grandson the Knight Jean-Philippe Gillès, as well as the latter’s children.
